Too early to have any real effect on the league...why don't the FA sort it out....surely it would make more sense and add some excitement if it was later in the season.... not that we wont be fired up for Chelsea, but if you look at there game at Man U third to last game of the season, I wonder why we never get a Big game around this time when there's so much more riding on it!

only if we win - and weve been slow starters for the past 3 seasons

the current lfc is a "momentum" team. it would have been better to have a few banker wins under the belt. the 1st 2 fixtures are REALLY bad. the next 4 or 5 however are good.

whilst it worries me - especially with a key champions league game in between - we have to look at it as an opportunity. If we can break even on the 1st 2 games, the next 5 are all winable

What worries me is that if we are not in the title race again and only playing for CL, then our fixtures in March/April can potentially f*** up our CL run or our chance of a top 4 finish depending on what Rafa prioritises.

We nearly always draw our first game were as Utd and Chelsea will win theirs. so thats us 2 points behind. But then, they'll both play mid week and win so if we lose at Home to chelsea we'll be 8 points off the pace after 2 games. not to put pressure on us like but
