Hughes has taken Blackburn to two FA Cup semi finals, O'Neill won the league cup (maybe twice) with Leicester. Very decent achievements for clubs of that size . Hardly not showing anything.
Havent the big clubs been not that arsed with the league cup tho? Middlesboro won it the other year didnt they? Should we get McClaren?
West Ham got to the final of the FA Cup. Should we get Pardew?Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

O'Neill's record is no better than his. Would you want him back in charge?
MO has won a couple of leagues in Scotland and a league cup down here with a small team , Souness has won more than that.(4 Scottish leagues at Rangers, League cup at Blackburn, FA Cup with us)
MO has done nothing that would make him qualified to take over at a top 4 club.Last edited by MindGuerrillas; 16-06-07, 04:03 PM.

Raffa has taken us to two Chapions League finals and an FA Cup final winning two them and out-playing Milan in the other outstanding achievments for a club of any size.
You also have to remember that Raffa hasn't bought about 5 players for x amount, he's had to buy about 10 players for that x amount as he overhauls the team! He's also re-structuring the club at the same time. Not to mention, again, the fact that under him LFC achieved their highest ever points total.
When will you actually look at just what Raffa has achieved in 3 years! No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy
Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!

**** me.
I didnt realise Rafa was the problem. When some of youj wake up and realise what a talent we have in Rafa the better.
Who are we gonna get that can attract talent like Reina and Alonso. How much does it cost to rebuild when everyone leaves.
It's time people realised how lucky we are to have Rafa. I suspect they will in a few weeks when we have finished buying.Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Fully agreed mate I can't stand that people don't see it, he's not above criticism and he's not perfect but he's a seriously good manager and will prove his worth if backed properly.Originally posted by Skillz View Post**** me.

The same people who want him gone are probably the ones who wanted Moorses out and now are unhappy with G & H.

I disagree with everything you say. Here are your answersOriginally posted by Reds08 View PostNo no no. If you look over the main points I have made since my glorious arrival- they read as follows;
1. Voronin is not good enough for Liverpool FC, free or not.
2. Samuel Eto'o will not be a Liverpool player next year.
3. We are as far from winning the league with Rafa as we were under Ged.
They are the three serious issues I have become embroiled with. Which bits of this do you disagree with? Be honest, I'm not wrong am I.....
1. How much have you seen Voronin play to be saying that. He will be 4th choice striker at the club, just like Robbie was. I am sure people were saying this when we were linked with Peter Crouch and we actually paid a transfer fee for him.
2. Only Eto'o, people at Barca and Liverpool and agents would know something concrete on that. You and I can only speculate. Besides, there are other top forwards we might buy if not Eto'o and we might then do better than we could have with Eto'o. But its all predicting the future isnt it and dont you think you are going a bit too far with it. You dont even know how much transfer budget Rafa has.
3. How many points did we have at the end of 05/06 season. How many did current league champions have that season. How many points do Chelsea have this season. Keep in mind that in that season, we had started from first qualifier of CL, went midseason to Japan and returned with jetlag and still managed so 82 points. With minimum rest after CL win due to first round qualifiers and the worldcup the next season, we started this season poorly and that is why we didnt get enough points as last season. Also bear in mind that we had Kewell injured for 1 season and Garcia for half a season.
With a better squad than we had then and fresh players, I cant see why we cant match the 82 points or even do better this season, that is if we are lucky in the injury department.Play Outwar free webbased MMORPG here

Oh but we have won the charity shield and super cup, so that's ok then.Originally posted by Reds08 View PostHere's a question....
For all the Rafa worshippers- where do you honestly think we will finish in the league next season? Me- 3rd or 4th- again. Good enough?Originally posted by Reds08 View Postso are we accepting 3rd next season, again, is that good enough?Originally posted by Reds08 View PostNo no no. Hiddink, O'Neill, Hughes to name three.Originally posted by Reds08 View PostOk. Hiddink has had success wherever he has been at club level, he gets the best out of teams (like he did with Korea) by encouraging them to express themselves- polar opposite to Rafa. Hughes and O'Neill, British managers, they understand English football. Just my opinion obviously, I could be wrong.Originally posted by Reds08 View PostWhat the hell has that got to do with anything? I have to say, I am disapointed with the reception I have recieved on this board, never more so than today. I see people posting the same points as me, they don't take such heartless abuse. I see people agreeing with me, they still don't get it in the neck. I think I may lay low for a while, unless we do sign Eto'o and I'll come back with an aplogetic speech up there with the great orators of our time. I'm sad it has come to this, all I ever wanted was debate about the state of our once great football club, now left behind by others once not fit to lace our boots. Until then, remember, YNWA.
