    Warnock injury?

    How bad is his injury anyone? I know a lot of people on here don't rate the lad but I hope he improves later in his career like Carra.
    I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

      Is the correct answer! Shouldnt be out too long. There's a chance he could be ready for the weekend, but its doubtful. Ankle injuries are tricky to call

        Do you think he will play as much as last season? I hope he gets a bit of a runout in midfield this season, maybe in the league cup were he can help the youngsters like Hammill and Anderson.

          Ste's apparently been told he has a future at LFC and the coaching staff rate him. He's been told that he'll get more games this season, and that Aurelio was signed as cover for LW(???). Unfortunately this is not from the horses mouth, but from a mutual friend who's a lot closer to him than me

            Better than any inside info I have, I have a soft spot for local lads. I really wanted Welsh to make it and also Alan Navarro if anyone can remember him.

              I remember Alan Navarro. Started off quality but like so many others was destined for greatness but just disappeared down the leagues. Shame really.

              Shame about Welsh as well. Ste was good mates with him and used to say about how funny he was, and how he was the best person to go out with/have at a party, ever!

                    Yeah, he's from Ormskirk, which is not in the least scouse. Thats where I spend most of my time nowadays although Im originally from Liverpool, and about to move to Manchester . The ironic thing is that he is always refered to as being scouse, but the vast majority of Ormy's hate this misconception and make sure people know there not scouse and from "Lancashire". My group of friends are a prime example of this, not neccessarily a bad thing, they wanna be who they are I suppose, but I don't see why it winds some of them up so much???

                        Interesting point about Aurelio. In my opinion, he looks like he could be a star at Left back once he understands his defensive responsibilities from set pieces.
