            Hi Guys,
I emailed the LiverpoolCouncil Planning Department today and simply asked whether the plans had been submitted yesterday as promised.

This is there response, unfortunately not good reading if like me you're desperate to see the new plans.....

            John

The revised plans for Liverpool FC stadium were due to be submitted yesterday but there has been another delay in their submission I believe relating to the design of the roof!, and now we are not expecting anything further from them until 23rd July at the earliest

Smokescreen mate. Apparently Dunk already has them but they got a bit stained as he used them to eat his sausage dinner out of.

                  cheers mate.
I would have guessed that there was a meeting today or yesterday to discuss the plans, with us already have a full set of plans to go to the council with, only for the council to tell us to change certain elements of the building so it ties in with the surroundings more.
These changes take time and most likely have several knock on effects. I am not sure how long it will take to change the plans. But I am not surprised by the delay.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                  * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

This all sounds abit to familiar with what Bascombe from the Echo said in a mock up 'piss take' article almost two weeks ago before he went of his holiday. This was about the constant stadium not ready plans delayed by one month and yet to be submitted to the council. Council will look at and come back with an answer
