What concerns me is that it's yet another person in the chain of command just to get a decision.
If Rafa wants to sign a player he would possibly have to go to Parry who has to go to either Foster Gillett or this woman who then have to go to G or T just to get things signed off. That's only one possible problem.

I think she will be able to keep a closer eye on things than Hicks, I see her more of a spy in the Hicks camp.

In the background to this appointment is a rumour that Hicks has fallen out with Gillett, his co-owner of Liverpool. Some rumours claim the fall-out is over money, others say it is over Hicks' perception that his half of the partnership is being pushed to one side, because Foster Gillett, and not one of Hicks' sons, will be getting the dominant role in the Anfield boardroom this autumn. It's this alleged row that is said to be holding back funds for Rafa Benitez. Perhaps this new appointment will help smooth things over, although of course the opposite could yet happen.

Last week it was Gillet who wasn't willing to spend money as he hadn't grasped the full LFC bug like Hicks. This week it's Hicks who wont spend the money :whatever:

A spy? Doesn't sound to good.
One thing that concerns me is that first and foremost she's obviously a business woman. She probably has, in my opinion, absolutely no passion for LFC or any other of his sporting ventures. She'll be there to make sure the business' turn over a profit. Which is good but I can't see her being to keen to sanction signings at £15,000,000 a pop. That's if she has that much control.

I think she probably knows what she's doing mate

What we need is someone who is an expert in business. If he or she loves us or not doesn't really matter.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Goes some way to prove ShanksLegend wrong as if Hicks wanted more involvement for his son he wouldn't have employed this women to oversee his sports empire.
