Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

To be fair you have come at a bad time. The close season is rubbish for intelligent debate. The sources of information become more of a topic than the information as in general the later is all wild speculation.

There are occasional out breaks of sense but at the minute it is rare.

The Chat Chat Chat sections are always a bit like this - but then thats the point of an internet community isn't it?

TBH I have been really disappointed by the quality of discussions on this site.

Each thread seems to be hijacked by a group of guys that know each other making 'in jokes'.
Its a shame really because the whole point of this site and a lot of effort has clearly been put into it, was to make a more open free relaxed version of koptalk. The main insiders came here but they seem to be a bit dispirited.

Maybe its been a victim of its own success but I must say its been pretty disappointing. Very little really intelligent conversation. Basically good threads start but they always end up the same way...

We can criticise Dunks site but you can also learn alot from it.

The tight control excersied on it prevents these cliques developing and enables new users to feel that they have a part to play in discussions.

Im not having a go, merely hoping that some of my points may be looked at crtitically. I think if not then this site will plateau out with its 3700 users and never develop into a really grat supporters site that clearly its proprietors want it to be.

Dont take my comments the wrong way this is not a rant but merely a suggestion.
I understand where you're coming from mate, and in all seriousness i'd say come back in 2 months time, I can see you only registered this month, so you don't have an idea of the standard of conversation here during the season. It's not something exclusive to this site, theres a lack of decent lfc conversation across all the lfc forums, there simply isn't anything worth discussing that hasn't been discussed 10 times already.

As for the likes of KK07, he only comes here in the close season, he'll **** off back to chat chat chat when the season starts The clique thing you speak of is evident on a lot of sites and also it's inevitable with long time members. When pre-season kicks off, the usual suspects will be back posting sense and all will be rosy

Fair play mate and take it onboard. As I said I came here because I heard some quality posters that were on KT are now on here(Mumsafan etc, Tom, Redlife,AnfieldREd etc oh and Morphorino.)
I dont think I've seen anything quite like this before.

This conversation can serve no purpose.

                          Goodbye.

As has been said, once the season starts, there'll be less transfer bollocks and more complaining about our away form and who we should've, but didn't buy.

I said in another thread earlier, for serious footy chat, you can't beat your mates. That said, during the season, the quality here improves

Aye, echo both this post and Morphorino's post earlier.

honestjon couldn't possibly have come at a worse time. It's a terrible reflection on the site, this time of year (this year more so than any other), although I'm pretty sure it's the same on not just every other Liverpool forum, but on most fan sites.

I hope this nonsense and ****e doesn't put you off - the discussion is much, much better during the season when there's some actual football to talk about.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
