Saw that on football 365. Apparently according to the wise guy that posted it, we are on par with Atletico, which is why our time has never come.

that is strange though isnt it. we cant really compare ourselves with any spanish club and were are definitely not on par with atletico

they had something about this on sly Sports this morning, think the interview came from the official Arsenal site so a very positive spin was put upon it.

I do think they are only a couple of players with experience away from a realy special side. I would consider selling Henry due to his injuries to allow them to bring in a couple of real leaders, ideally a CB or a midfielder. I think that Van Persie and Adebeyor make a really good front partnership.

They need someone to link Gilberto at the back to the more attacking midfielders IMO. Rosicky, Hleb and Fabregas all play too attacking a role for them at times. I think Fabregas or Diaby will be able to learn the roles over time but they aren't ready yet and the side as a whole lacks leaders with the exception of Gilberto who I thought was exceptional last year.

ok. if we are on par with atletico then that surely means we are getting torres then.
