I'd rather watch my own bollocks being sandpapered than watch that imbecile.

            To quote Steven Gerrard...

"He (Cisse) didn't get much credit that season, but he deserves massive praise. Some of his decisions to do with clothes, cars, tatoos and hair have me shaking my head in disbelief, but as a person Djib is a great lad, and really caring. He'll do anything for you. I wont miss his colourful clothes, but I will miss his bright personality. I hope he enjoys better luck at Marseille, he will always be rememered at Anfield"

It's an over simplistic and fairly idiotic comment, in my opinion.

We've won four trophies since Rafa joined the club, Cisse had a crucial part to play in three of those victories.

He's not good enough in the long term, but dismissing him as '****e' is ridiculous.

I liked him as a character, and he seemed to really love the club, but in fairness you have to call a spade a spade. Cisse was a massive disappointment and no amount of "oh well, he scored goals" is going to mask the fact that he was nowhere near the required level for us to challenge for the league. All our current strikers are generally more useful and talented than Djibril.

All the same YNWA. I hope he is a success next season.

                        Bellamy isn't.

                        Other than that, fair post.

I would take Bellamy over Cisse. I think he has more about him in his game, I also think this season Belamy has done what cisse didn't do when he was at Liverpool, which is listen to Rafa and do what he said. I think the unselfish work Bellamy did for the team this season generally went unnoticed.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I'd be inclined to agree, but Bellamy and Cisse sit quite comfortably together in the "C list" strikers' category. There is little to choose between them; on the one hand, Cisse scored more goals than Bellamy, on the other we are finding it difficult to get £5m for Cisse whereas Bellers seems to be attracting a fair bit of attention and we are looking to sell more around the £10m mark. Bellamy gets my vote, but as I say, it's a close run contest.

That's heart warming dave, but frankly, since i'll never know Cisse or spend any time in his company, the notion of him being a sweet widdle boy means diddly squat to me. He was ****e for us and i hope to never see him in a red shirt again. I hope i'm never bored enough to wanna see any clip of him getting his car 'pimped up'...
