      yup, normally it pisses me off when Harry jets off for these meaningless games, but I do think at the moment he needs some games and he'll be good to go for us in August.

        What a silly comment, Rafa and the club gave him permission to play in the comp, he said he wouldn't if the club didn't want him to. It's obviously going to help with his fitness, he plays a few good level competetive games, comes back to us has a week or so off, straight into a some nice pre-season fixtures and ready to start the season in August. If he gets injured then he gets injured, aint nothing gonna stop that, wether he plays that comp or not

          You have a point aswell mate, we both do, but personally, I would prefer to have him back firing on all cylinders and not looking to hard to find some form. I wouldnt worry about Harry not being with the squad early, as he is just one bloke, and must be well used to Rafa's tactics by now. Plus, if he breaks down again, we know where we stand with Harry, most likely for the rest of the season, so there would be time to bring in cover hopefully.

            squad rotation was almost demonstrated at its best last season had we have won the CL. Every other team looked nackered while we were still fresh. It would be nice to have a good start to the season for a change though.

                This will be the first proper pre-season we've had under Rafa I think it will tell come August mate.

                  He needs to be playing games IMO, without overdoing it.
                  Have to say, im sick and tired of reading this old bollox from Kewell every few months or so, its time to start doing it on the pitch.

                    Not to be a skeptic but I did a ctrl F on 'Liverpool' in all of this and I didnt see Harry saying too much that meant he was about us.

                    Maybe im wrong and a big skeptic but all I see is how Harry can be ok. There is no mention of the team.

                    I say get rid if we can get aniother LW for him.

                    I cant help but fel that hes all about himself and not about the team

                      Kewell would probably even take a wage cut to stay with us. He loves the team. He could have got much more money from another team but he wanted to play for the club he loves, Liverpool FC.

                      There is no rush to give him a new deal because Kewell would IMO stay with us even if he has a chance to join another team on a free so we can wait and see how fit he will be before offering him a new deal.
                      Just believe and you never know what will happen.

                      According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                            I hope so mate, I think we are long over due a good start to the season, or more importantly a genuine challege in the league. IF we could do that, and keep our recent tradition of competing well in Europe we will become even more of a pull for players all round the world.

                              I`m with you,he picks up most of his injuries playing for the convicts.train with our team and pay back what you owe us harry.

                                i can see him getting injured again, it would have been better for him to rest or get himself fit over the summer.
