deafening silence innit. I'm sure I remember this being mooted a few years ago but nothing has come of it. Personally I'd love it!
'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'
I'm not sure how worthwhile it would be at the moment. What would they show? Reserve coverage and a few retro clips and interviews? I can get that on my e-season ticket. As long as there's a collective TV deal, a club's own channel won't provide much value for money, in my opinion.
The "channel" that the club has now has one or two shows a week. They usually shows the last game with commentary. There is also a former star that talk about the game, before , at half time and after the game. I ussually don`t watch as I`ve probably seen the game before, and know the score.
As it is now it`s not really good enough, but i guesss they`ll step it up if they launch a proper channel.

Will be available on Sky. Will have interviews from Melwood and Anfield and wont just show games from 70's and 80's but will have new material from what i can remember.
Here in Norway it`s a program on a channel called SportN, I don`t know anything else about it. To me it has looked like they are trying to find their form, and it has gotten better. It still has a long to go in IMO before they can make money on it.
I suppose you could argue that it's good foresight and shrewd marketing. Regardless of whether it's value for money, many people will subscribe to it, which generates revenue for the Club. Also, if and when the Premiership clubs ever gain the right to negotiate individual TV deals, as they do in Spain, then we'll already have an infrastructure in place to broadcast our own matches and profit from it.
I emailed them about this last week and the reply i got was that there was no new news and when there is it will be announced on the official site :whatever:
Other team's full channels lose money hand over fist that is why the club said they won't have one.
I thought there was some 1-2 hour weekly show that went out to none UK/EU countries.

true the operating costs for a channel aren't going to pay themselves, but the exposure the club receives and the programming etc will attract new fans and i'm sure will make money in other ways
LFC.TV are urging people to stick around this summer cos they are gonna have plenty of coverge on the e-season starting with the Wrexham & Crewe games.
A channel would be nice but they have to have plenty of material to cover and how long does the channer have to broadcast a day ?
8 hours, 12 hours or 24/7. It will cost a fortune but as Morph said maybe with a wider audiance across the world the club can make it happen.
