    Kuyt to start against the Hammers?

    What do you reckon?

    He's had all week to settle into the place but hasn't had much opportunity to train with the first team lads as they've been out in Kiev. What do you reckon Rafa'll do?

    My guess is that Kuyt will start up front alongside Bellamy, with Crouch replacing him late on. Crouch and Fowler for the bench.

    A debut goal will go down well too!

    I'm off down to Cardiff tomorrow for the Bank Holiday weekend, and playing golf on Saturday morning (hopefully finishing in time to see the match somewhere), then going to the All Star Cup in the Celtic Manor on Monday.

    Have a good weekend all and let's hope for our first league win of the campaign!

    WOuld be supprised if he started, but im sure he will be on the bench.

      I think he will start on the bench. Cant wait to see him in action though.

          He's in my fantasy team but that one doesn't start 'til Sept 9.

                I think Rafa will rotate his strikers now he has 4 class one.
                Fowler & Kuyt to start vs the Hammers imo.

                  Rafa is pretty suprising with his team selections, hez a tickerman. Doesn't always pick the strongest line up.

                    it's difficult to know really... if he's been doing really well and impressing Rafa and the coaches in training then I'm sure he'll get the start. He's had a preseason with feyennord so no reason why not.

                    could be bellamy/kuyt up front on saturday.

                          Not so sure about this, Crouch looked pretty ****ed at the end against Maccabi also looked as though he took a knock. Rafa likes to rotate to keep players fresh so can see Kuyt starting. Just a hunch though.
