    Sadly considering their brilliant name:

"At the end of the thrilling climax to the premiership Feyenoord, Bofoakwa Tano and Power FC could not take the ascendancy but rather took a drive down the log as they have been relegated from the elite division."

However despite not playing in the top four competition (still a mystery to me) our boys are in the African Champions league

my guess is that it's similar to how the a-league in australia is run. the team on top of the table at the end of the season wins a secondary title, while the winner of the four team playoff wins the major championship. baseball/football/hockey works the same, the division winners get a pennant, but the playoff winners get the world series.

as for names like arsenal, it's the same in south america. there are a few english / european club names in use in the various leagues. mostly it's because of ex-pats moving there many years ago and starting up a club, which they would then name after their favorite team back home.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
          that'll only make it harder.

No one likes the NY Cosmos. You should change your av pic to at least something nice like maybe the Vancouver Whitecaps?

            Just a suggestion

Probably right - what I want to know is why when we finished second we didn't play in the top 4 tournament.

I was hoping their season would still be going on so could follow it for a while, bu no such luck.
