I'm sure Utd and Chelsea will be playing those weeks as well.

The good thing is that we don`t have the long trips to eastern- europe. The only long flight is to Istanbul, and we have Fulham after that one.
Someone should check who Scum and Chelski are playing before they meet us.

I think they must be right. I've just checked Ryanair and their prices for those days from Dublin are up from 99cent to €89.99 each way

But we are the ones who traditionally have trouble getting 3 points after a CL game...

That was only when we were having to play Biscan, Pellegrino, Potter and Mellor in league games

**** me I didnt realise how crucial the first 2 months of this season are..I mean obviously every game is crucial but it really is make or break, we'd better get into our stride and fast. I just hope these injuries don't come back to haunt us

To be honest...I think it's a good thing. I know it will be tough physically, but those games will keep the players focussed throughout the early part of the season (where in the past we have had a fair few dips). Sometimes getting a run together when the fixtures are like that can improve the performance and then give confidence for the rest of the season.

                      : pray :

Yeah couldn't agree more. We definitely have a set of players that can raise their game when needed i think, we just need to do it, and fast. West Ham is so so important for confidence for the upcoming fixtures..Rafa has actually been very clever managing to give everyone a game and get them nearer match fitness, we'd have got away with it if it wasn't for the injuries

All the dates have now been confirmed by the UEFA Website

As a matter of interest, who actually makes the CL fixtures. Is it UEFA or do the clubs agree amongst themselves

                              Uefa does it.

They have certain rules with the draw like sides from same country in different halves of draw and avoiding clashes with teams sharing a stadium like Inter and AC Milan.

I'm surprised that we got an away tie to start and end with. Top Seeds normally avoid this. I see Inter, Arsenal and Real Madrid are the other Top Seeds in the same Boat
