is it possible rafa wanted momo and xabi to sign now is to get a better price either in jan or next summer ????..

another possibility is steve will be ****ed out right wing again to accomodate alonso and macherano with sissoko being given a bit part role !!!

Just goes to prove that we do have money:
We are close to singing Torres and now Momo signs; If we where skint i believe Rafa would have sacrificed Momo for the 10 million to get a winger. Keeping Momo proves , to me any way, that we have enough cash to get some/most of Rafas #1 targets.
People may have to sit up and take notice when we inail Torres and others and our new Ground plans in teh weeks a head

I am shocked. I thought Momo was on the way out. I'm not unhappy as though he isn't at the level of some of our other midfielders he is still young and has alot of potential.

The only question remains is how do we keep them all happy. I seriously can not see Gerrard being a regular in the centre now, which is a shame.

Unless Momo is gonna be turned back into a striker due to us missing out on our targets,
