I think it's designed to cater for those fans (Rashid and AnfieldDanfield) who want to go to the new stadium but don't like watching the team.

It's a ship...a feckin' big ship!!!!! Look at the pics and remember what G&H said about 'reflecting the heritage of the city'. Well Liverpool was and still is one of the worlds major ports, so they're building us a ship. The Kop is like a giant billowing sail, and from above there is the resemblance of a hull/sails, that sort of stuff. Not a mersey ferry mind you, more Onedin line.....fantastic, look again and tell me I'm not pissed!!!

You can see the "new" stadium pics on the flickr website. Just type in new anfield as a search.

I dunno if they are any more credible than the "new Anfield" we had just before them, so I'm waiting for the official release now.

you missed everything, some lad posted the pictures and they done the rounds. rawk then contacted the various sites to have the pictures removed sensing the lad was going to get into trouble and get the sack. rupert (like a ****) from the blog did an editorial about koptalk being the last ones as usual to have the information but refused the polite request to have the pictures removed citing censorship. the blog was at an impasse as of this morning but it seems dialogue may be making some progress
