Euro Away Kit

Could someone please explain why the merchandise department still sucks big time?!?!?

The offal proudly writes "LFC Polo Shirts - online now" on its first page but off course most of the 26 shirts are CURRENTLY UNAVAiLABLE...

As for the Euro Away Kit - the release date has yet to announced but at this Danish home page:

I can preorder the shirt at a price of £40 - and they'll start shipping the shirts the 6th of July.
The same goes for the white Away Kit - same price, same delivery date.

How on earth can that be true????
I had hoped that G&H would take care of that but perhaps they just need more time - does anyone if anything is happening in that area?

I dont know, Id hope that g&h are currently completely redesigning the whole ****ing thing as its the worse online shop ive ever seen. There has to be a couple of hundred quids worth of gear i want and would buy if only it were available.
Its a farce but as its such a huge undertaking I would say it will take up to 1 year to sort it.

The funny thing is that the club often gets credit for having the best football web site in terms of presentation and offers towards the customers/us who can get credit cards, ring tones, e-season tickets etc.

I like the website, no worries there, hell the shop even looks good, its the ****ing stock that lets us down!!!

TBH it's probably down the list of priorities at the minute, after player contract, orting the stadium, signing new players, preparing for the new season is all sorted, we'll probably start to see more improvements in the marketing.

We're getting the tv channel, which i'm going take a guess and say might have some sort of qvc shop style filler in the schedule, but even if it doesn't it's evidence of marketing getting sorted. My feeling is come next summer when we launch the new home shirt, there won't be any of these problems. I think it might have been a higher priority if the home shirt was this summer, but as the demand for away merch isn't as big, they probably decided to prioritise other things first.

And I am glad they prioritised it accordingly, there isnt much doubt that to increase profitability the American pair will make massive changes to our merchandising, I just want it today! ha ha its been so crap for so long its a constant source of irritation for me.
As mentioned earlier I reckon 1 year should be enough time for them to get it sorted and as you rightly said that will tie in nicely with the home shirt release.
