Watched the whole game last night (Oz time). Australia took it fairly easy as it was played in oppressive heat. First Half singapore should have scored at least once.

Second half was much different although Viduka managed to head in a speculative cross to go one up. As Harry was being introduced i said to my mate (Pom, Chelsea supporter) watch him change the game.

Harry then proceded to miss a gloriuos free header which he really should of got. Then made a great run from near half way line through the Singapore defence only to hit his shot too hard and the keeper made a god save (should of chipped him).

He then made a great diagonal run straight through 2 defenders to run on to loose ball on edge of box which he hit first time with his right foot, low and to the left of the keeper who got a hand to it but couldnt stop it going in. Class goal.

He then made a good run down the left on to a good through ball and hit a first time quality cross pinpointing Viduka who headed a simple goal.

It was set up for Harry though as he came on against tiring players but he couldnt of been more impressive TBH except his 2 misses which i put down to lack of match sharpness. I was made up and hope he can continue and then come back FIT!!!
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Apparantly the players lost 3-4 kg in sweat during the match so we could once again see a very slim Harry Kewell after the Asian cup.

Of the 3-4 kgs, 95% of it would be water.

To be fair, he is looking better than ever fitness wise.

He hit it along the ground from edge of 18 yard box just off centre of the goal. The keeper managed to get a hand to it but couldn't quite turn it round the post.

Nothing special and certainly not a rocket!
Totally agree, in fact watching it live here in Melbourne he was lucky to score and get it past the keeper. We need to keep a very tight lid on what Harry does in this tournament. In fact if he doesnt get injured that will be better for LFC than him scoring 'rockets'

Given that he's only played about 45mins in a year, I think he did pretty well. A goal and an assist, plus the bright performances in the EPL. I think he's getting back to his best. I hope he can reach his Leeds level.

Maybe Im being too harsh on him but too many false dawns.
