when do sky/setanta announce which of our games they're gonna shift around so they can show them live?

I haven't even looked at the new fixture list yet. All I know is our first couple of fixtures, and that we're playing Arsenal in October, and Spurs on the last day of the season (which I will be at in my boss' corporate box ).

Unfortuantely long gone are the days when I would look forward to the fixture list being published and start planning all my trips to Anfield for the forthcoming season. Not put the the fixtures into Outlook or anything.

With Sky and now Setanta moving fixtures left, right and centre and with Champions League qualifiers as well, the first fixture list published is nothing more than indicative. You can look at them for a particular fixture and the schedule may say 3pm Saturday, but all that tells you is that in all probability that game will take place that weekend. You don't know if it will be Saturday lunchtime, afternoon, early evening, or Sunday. Ridiculous.

Sky and Setanta need to think of a way to decide which fixtures they're going to televise a lot sooner than what they do. Probably not practical to submit a list to the FA before the fixtures are decided, but they need to sort this out soon.

£15 a month subscription to Setanta is required I believe but for that you get the other sports as well

I know in the UK you can subscribe from £9.99 a month with no 12 month contract. Typically, cable costs more for less.

So how does having to pay another £9.99 a month increase competition - those EU/C beurocrats are mental. Will Sky still have a Prem+ season ticket? The monthly fee has gone up not down. So, it's going to cost even more to see all our games on TV this year.

its certainly not worth £10 a month, a prem plus season ticket was about £50 if you bought it at the right time and even then not sure I got my moneys worth, as I only got it for LFC away games, so they had to be on PPV 7 times away for me to break even (assuming £7 per game)

looks like I will just be paying for the LFC away games on a PPV basis

It's any time now, my guess is this week, going by previous seasons it's last week of june/first week of july, don't know if the setanta stuff might hold it up like if they have to divvy the games up
