      After a pre-season when most of the WC players were rested & injuries to the heart of midfield & defence, I think we did more than alright considering

        I was one of the people that wasn't to excited about Kuyt sign for us, I thought he might be another Morientes for us. Today he did exellent, all of Moro's good build up play and looked very good as a threat to the goal.
        I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

          If Momo gets a long term injury this season we are in big trouble, we should have kept hamman.

          Kuyt looked good when he came on and looks like he would beneifit from pennants crossing.

          I think gerrad and alonso cannot play together in the centre, Alonso is not great defensively and Gerrad didnt do much to help him today.

              Well said about Aurelio mate.

              He really seems to struggle with positioning. He is forever desperately clambering across to the left back position. He also needs to improve his tackling asap. I'm seriously worried about our new LB.

                He's everything that Nando should of been. Commentator made a comment about his energy and workrate today as if to say it was because it was his debut. But that's what he is like all the time. He's a machine.

                  Listening here in the US on Satelite radio, nothing was more fantastic than hearing the singing of YNWA coming through behind the commentators, fantastic stuff!!
