i am celebrating made up with the purchase of torres..he reminds me of rush...but just not totally convinced yet by the yanks...do you know how much up to yet has been there money...and not money we got anyway from who we are gonna sell and being at the final in athens for example

These guys are serious thats for sure. their experience in sports management is clear to see. The stadium will be what seals it for most and as much as we want instant success/signings the stadium is the most important issue facing this club.

If we build a world class stadium with a massive Kop it will be clearly the most famous stadium in the world. I know the kop is already the most famous stand but if done right it will be enhanced to a massive degree. The fact G&T recognised that so early shows they are on the ball.

The next 5-10 years will be incredibly exciting for us and i pray they are all with Rafa. The reason for that (besides the fact i rate him as an elite manager) is the only thing that could derail our momentum at the moment is his leaving. Personally i cannot see it happening and expect him to be here at least for the first season in the new stadium!

I'm pretty chuffed at the signing of Torres, he's still pretty young and I think Rafa can make him an even better player. As for the money, not really bothered if it was their money or what we have earned. It's the first time for a while that the purse strings have been loosened for one player. Still would like a couple more class signings in though. Number 19 could be getting closer, I hope.
