FT) There is a group of my mates, about five or six of us, and we've all grown up supporting Liverpool. Because they are all so committed to Liverpool, they've had We'll Never Walk Alone tattooed on their arms. It's changed slightly because it's a symbol of our friendship as well as our support for the club. Obviously I couldn't have that tattooed on my arm playing for Atletico, but they gave me this armband as a present for my last birthday.

No doubt his heart will always be at the club he has always supported as a boy which is Atletico Madrid. Not a problem with that.

Not every player we sign has to be a Liverpool fan. Apparently Steve McManaman is still a massive Everton fan now but he didn't do to bad did he?

He says he was a fan as a boy, but it makes no odds whether he's telling the truth or not.

You've been critical of our strikers in the past KC - I take it you're satisfied with Torres' signing?

TBH mate we've built up so many supposedly "top drawer" strikers over the last 15 years only to be disappointed, but yes I think we've bought well on this occasion: decent CONSISTENT goalscoring record in a mediocre side in atop league, and at international level, and is quick, and can hold the ball up.

He needs to stay fit to be able to prove himself, but for him to blossom, he needs good service and a good partner who knows how and when to make the runs to take the pressure off him...and that man is Owen / Kuyt imho.

Torres is a class above the likes of Collymore, Heskey, Crouch, Cisse & Bellamy, and is more physical than Morientes - so he all the attributes to be a top striker - now he needs to prove it.

For me if we got Torres & Owen, Mancini and Alves / Quaresma / Simao this summer I'd be very, very happy.

I didn't say he couldn't did I? I'm a fan of Barca too, though obviously my real passion and club I support is Liverpool. Maybe Torres is a fan of Liverpool, like I a fan of Barca. Maybe not.
