where is the poll???"I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

As long as come the last 5 games of the season we are in with a realistic chance, that will do for me.We really need to challenge.-----------------------------------------------

We created more chances than anyone else last season. Winning the league is going to be on the shoulders of Kuyt and Torres. If we play Kuyt up front he will get 10 more goals. If torres can add 15-20 more EPL goals then we will win.Originally posted by kop-al-74 View PostAs long as come the last 5 games of the season we are in with a realistic chance, that will do for me.We really need to challenge.

Spot on brother. I think we'll need a 'near-miss' season before going on and winning it, we simply haven't even been in the fumes of a Premiership title hunt for ages so it's unrealistic to expect us to wade in their next year and trump the likes of Scum, Chelski who have been there and done that more than once.
And none of that is to consider the facts that we still need to buy in more top class creative options, have just signed a striker from Spain that may or may not take to the Premiership, and most crucially of all, have a manager that to date has blotted his copybook badly by adopting an over-scientific and cautious approach in Premiership games, instead of taking a few more risks which would ebenfit us better in the long run. Or certainly have us closer than 30-odd points behind or whatever. The manager's domestic philosophy has to change, especially now that the safety net of 'no money' is effectively removed, and it's time for Rafa to change his spots and deliver.
