A different Feel

I did hear a rumour that Benitez was conducting our transfer negotiations this year. Apart from the obvious reason why, I didn't think that was possible, but I do detect a different feel about our dealings this summer.

We appear to have played hardball with Atletico and won, if the £20-21m fee is to be believed. We seem also to be successfully playing off Marseille against a number of clubs for Cisse, and indeed West Ham for Bellamy.

Surely Benitez is not engaged in negotiations though?
