I even think four strikers is one to many. Three should be enough and if we really need a fourth one in case of injuries or suspensions then a reserve team striker should be the fourth striker.
You can't have four high quality strikers and expect to keep them all happy IMO. Another problem is that it would be a problem to keep them match fit.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think Torres is going to be a star for us.

I wanted Eto'o first but after that it was Torres for me with Tevez third choice so I'm made up with the Torres signing.
He seemed to be underrated by a few people on these boards, not sure why, so hopefully he has what it takes to prove the doubters wrong. I think he does.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

If that's true then 4's enough. What's his goal record like? But he's still unproven as a goalscorer in the Prem like Torres, and Kuyt. And given that Crouch's league goalscoring record is poor, imho we are massively exposed without a consistent, proven Premiership goalscorer in the ranks. I sincerely hope that the addition of Torres will address this and that Kuyt will have a much better striking rate in his 2nd season, but it is a risk.
The only way these 4 will be good enough to me is if the creativity from both wide areas is addressed - and that means buying 2 wingers, not one. If we go into the new season with Torres, Voronin, and 1 new winger as our major addition, I will worry for us, as we will be taking 2 big risks:
1) No consistent, proven Premiership goalscorer
2) we will again be relying on the likes of Kewell and Pennant to deliver along with the new winger (who may take time to bed in)
