I would like to know the difference though.
Heaven forbid the Premier League and UEFA should look completely incompetant

Indeed. That's why there was quite a delay in getting the deal for Mascherano done.

Why is there a thread on Masch in the xfer forum?

I've never read on the Official website what the story is with the Mascherano deal - has it ever really been explained?

Sure as eggs are eggs this Kia bloke has helped make a mockery of the rules.

It would look like his attendance at the hearings was a good thing for us.
                Lets wait and see though.

I doubt that. Mascherano will not be affected by what happens to Tevez.

The problem for Man U is that they must agree a deal with both West Ham and MSI for the economic rights and playing registration.

We only needed to agree a deal with MSI after West Ham canceled his contract.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

That is at least what my german friend told me. I didn't knew that West Ham canceled Mascherano's contract.

Didn't refer to Tevez on this point mate - just wondering if there is a real chance that he won't stay beyond the initial 18 month loan and could this be the reason Momo got a new deal when it appears that he is 4th choice CM at best at present

So are you saying that we're loaning Mascher from MSI?

If so, why is that not a case of 3rd party ownership?

The whole thing is to do with 3rd party interference rather than ownership. Mascher contract and registration belongs to us for the 18 month period with an option to purchase after that. MSi can't do anything like talk to other clubs about Mascher without our permission during that 18 months.
