I listened to this in the car as it happened - I felt like cheering when he said Carra was on the line.
When you listened to the whole show it was amazing that even a lot of Mancs were phoning up defending him, one guy even claiming that they would love Carra in their side.

No way was he letting the bottler part go, I listened to jamies phone call but didn't hear the buildup, would love to know what the **** presenter had said about him. ****in **** himself by sounds of it once the call came through.
Just wouldn't have happened with any other player, and as cliched as it sounds, he really is a natural heir to the "man of the people" persona that Shanks had.
Would love to have heard the build-up and the "bottler" comment in context to see why jamie got so riled.
