With the players we've got, we'd only get balance with a 4-4-3, so I can see why you made that mistake. In fact, with all our Central midfielders, we need to play a 4-7-2.

Rafa always maintained that the only flaw in his rotation system was that his ‘second string’ just weren’t good enough. I really wouldn’t be surprised to see him take his rotation system to the extreme and make wholesale changes practically every game. He already proved the critics wrong with his zonal marking, so now hopefully he has the quality to illustrate the benefit of rotation.

Can the lad score blinding free kicks? Thats what we need more than anything. Someone to hit a decent deadball. If not, whats the point of him? The other players in his position all have at least 5 or 6 seasons to give us.

If I was manager I wouldn't be signing a player based on their free kick ability. It would need to be allround play, passing, play making, shooting, tackling etc.
Riise, Gerrard, Alonso and Aurrelio are all able o hit a dead ball, they may not be the worlds best at it, but they are decent dead ball strikers.
