It was just a ****ing question that was asked in the pub, I didn't know the answer, so put it to the forum, I obviously didn't realise it was going to offend you precious, miserable get.Originally posted by saj View PostI got a better question, how many captains haven't we got?
"Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch". It generates a warmth around the ground that augurs well for mankind and that's what life's about. Trouble is these days you never see a dog on the pitch".

Leaders of Men
Just a thought about how many leaders we've got within our squad now.
Obviously Gerrard and Carra speak for themselves, but then we've got:
Hyypia: a long time Liverpool captain
Kuyt: former captain at Feyenoord
Torres: captain at Atletico when he was just 19
Benayoun: captain of Israel
Riise: sometime captain of Norway (might even be full time now, Skandos will know)
Then there's the obvious leadership qualities of players like Mascherano, Sissoko and Alonso.
Yet another reason to be cheerful.
