I certainly don't mind him wondering around that area with an oppurtunity to shoot from now on.

Kuyt is a beast of a player. I remember saying he was good on koptalk and facing the wrath of the arseholes who, to a man, swore blind that he was slow, **** and not even as good as kezman. I`ll tell you what, if he performs like that every week, we will have the bargain of the seaon, even at 9 mill.
Agger is gonna be a superb player, injuries permitting. Reminds me a bit of jocky. Dont understand why some people are dismissing big sami so easily though, the fella is absolutely brilliant. One of the best centre halves in the world, and will be for a good few years yet, as hes never relied on pace in his life. how can you lose pace if youve never had any?

I'm not saying that I'm glad that Carra got injured at this point in the season, but I think that in the long run it would prove to have profitted Agger. If Sami had gone down or the gaffer dropped him and put in Agger, he would have been unable to benefit from Sami's on-field experience. With Carra out for 2-3 weeks, since he would never be dropped when fit, allows Dan to see what Sami does on the field and in crucial game situations. I think that by Jan Agger/Carra will be our everyday CB pair. This gives him the oppurtunity to learn more from the master than he would be able to on the training ground.

I think that Agger has frequently shown that he has what it takes to be a fixture in out back line for years. He had trouble early but he always picked himself up and got stuck right back in. But he has been excellent in his performances at Newcastle last season and those early this year.

I am also really excited about DK. He is exactly what our front line needs and he was unlucky not to score today. He will be the perfect foil to Bellamy.

          Two future Red Legends.

            Pennant was awesome
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
