      I agree with you guys, if we get enough young good players (remember we have loads from south america coming this season too, then surely one or two will prove to be good enough. Then the price paid in wages will be saved as we will have saved potentially millions in transfer fees and wages!

      good on rafa for getting involved in this busines!

        Rafa has used Real Madrid's system as an example, whereby the club generates revenue through the sale of players developed through the youth ranks, as well as providing the occasional gem for the first team.

            Well Rafa did say he was in charge of about 40 kids when he was at Real Madrid Academy, so looks like he's going for that number, thing is when are they all going to play?

                    This Amoo lad seems quick - I've read he ran the 100m in the school championships final in 11.39 secs.

                    The youth set-up seems to be getting stronger and stronger each week - just hope some of them make it into the first team!
