Waiting for the summer to end and the stadium stuff to be delivered.
And the marketing/merchandise stuff to be sorted.

You also have to ask why that last point wasnt sorted before....and why we were aiming to build a stadium without expansion options...

Sorry Parry, not in the good books yet.

To even think about building a stadium without any chance to expand it probably is the most idiotic LFC business decision ever. It wouldn't cost anything to leave that chance open.

I can't imagine what Parry and Moores thought when they decided that.

It's just crazy and plain stupid.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The previous stadium design to me was an 'Ikea' stadium, Generic looking for hard-up chairmen.

The best thing G&T have done is redesign it.
      We come not to play.

Not necessarily true. Creating a roof that can be taken off to expand the stadium could be a lot more expensive than a fixed roof. Lets be honest , I don't think anybody would say that the club's been run brilliantly over the last 5 years but problems with transfers and the stadium were almost definately compounded if not totally caused by our lack of finances.

IMHO everybody at the club deserves a pat on the back for the speed and sheer quantity of the transfers this summer. And also for putting up with all the spoilt little brats who spat their dummies out when the mancs bought a couple of costly prospects early on and continued to question the integrity of everybody at the club - you should be ****ing ashamed of yourselves.

Years ago we bought a few new faces and let them integrate into the club slowly. The talk was more about how the team was going to shape up and what the manager could get out of different players. Unfortunately these days it seems to be more about how much we can spend and which flashy players we can buy.

Just another pointer in the slippery slope of the game 's downward spiral

Or funny how he "got his ***** together" when he didn't have the same financial constraints?

The glass is half full in my opinion...

The criticism of Parry was always uninformed and silly. The praise of him, holding him responsible for us signing quality is equally so.

The fact that he's fecked up more then his succeeded is his legacy.

If he was the CEO of a similar sized company and/or a company with our turnover prospective turnover i honestly can't see how he could have kept his job.

Very harsh and unfounded analysis. Parry had to work with tight budget constraints, it has to be said. Developing the commercial as well as the playing side of the club required money.

Now he's probably getting the support, financially wise that he should have had a long time ago. Don't forget that he's the main instigator of our long protracted investment saga and he's been instrumental in the success of the premier league as it is today.

People should stop making as stupid as arguments as that as they know nothing.

Well, Parry will now do what he should do and that is to act as the final voice before any deals go to G&H to accept them instead of doing a lot of the hard work himself. At least that is what I think the new commercial director is all about.

That way we will speed up things a bit.
