With all of the arrivals at Anfield and with only Cisse and the trouble maker so far looking like they are off who would you not shed a tear for if they were to leave?
Do you think that Hyypia has had his day? Is the goal threat of Crouch too inconsistant? Will Sissoko get a look in with Alonso, Stevie and Mascherano all in the squad.

Lil Luis is gone too, as is Zenden. I don't think we will see many more of our first team squad leave this summer. Maybe Aurelio. Paletta has been loaned out.

I think he would be good for us and a steal at 4mil. He's one of the mancs that i don't actually mind. We need a "defensive" leftback for certain games and he can play in the centre where we are a little short. I'd take him deffo!

Why does that matter if he improves the team?

I'm unsure about him for a number of reasons but I would defer to Rafa on this as most of the former are purely emotional.

my thoughts were only who could go, my reasons for which are as follows :-

Pennant - short of top class imo, lacks a goal threat, is good but not LFC standard.

Kewell - If he gets injured again Rafa's patience will run out, he has the ability but is never fit to prove it. He could easily be one of our best players this year though.

Crouch - great player, this is more down to him not being happy with the rotation and not playin enough

Riise - not convinced rafa likes riise to much and if insua makes the grade or aurelio stays fit he may be sold to man city for £25million in january

God and Jerzy have also gone with Sinama Pongolle staying at Recreativo and Gonzalez about to leave so it's already been quite a "clearout" of experienced players as well as several youngsters going out on loan.
