    The Liverpool Squad no's 2007-2008

    LFC Squad

    Quite a few peculiarities on that list...

    There's no number 1 but Pepe Reina keeps his favourite number 25...

    However, Scott Carson is listed as number 88...

    No news about Mark Gonzalez' sale to Real Betis but he's still listed at number 11 yet Yossi Benayoun has been given that shirt...

    Craig Bellamy is still there at number 17...

    Paul Anderson is still there at number 26...

    The numbers stop at 48 then there's a big gap to number 73...

    Adam Hammill is still there at number 78...

    Anthony Le Tallec is still listed but at number 86...

    Besian Idrizaj scored a hat-trick last weekend yet is number 89 - is he going out on loan?

    Djibril Cisse is still down as number 90...

    Florent Sinama Pongolle is still there but with no number...

    I know the LFC website is often out of date but Fernando Torres has already been added at number 9 and Andriy Voronin at number 10 replacing Luis Garcia. Jerzy Dudek, Robbie Fowler and Bolo Zenden have also been taken off the list.

    I wonder what number Ryan Babel will be given - 13 (the date he signs), 17 (replacing Bellamy), 19, 21, 24 or even higher? Or could he be given number 1? Does that number have to go to a keeper?

          It's bad luck day today(apparently)Babel now needs to sign officially on the 14th,who the f*ck wants to sign on Friday the 13th.

            not really unless he walks under a ladder, a black cat runs in front of him & he forgets to pick up a spider and place it outside his doorstep..then it would be bad luck

                        arbeloa has been given 17, carson 26, benayoun 11 so i expect babel to get 19 or 21.

                              Squad Numbers - More To Come?

                              Arbeloa moved from 2 to 17 - maybe that suggests a big right back/centre back signing on its way? Unusual for players to be moved around like that isn't it?
