This move is a strange one. I mean, Robbie doesn't need to prove anything to anybody so him wanting to go down a division instead of going to somewhere like Oz, where he would have had a great quality of life albeit on a lesser salary (which he don't really need) is really odd.
Maybe his family were not keen on moving to Oz.

well we discussed it and their reasoning was just if the high salary being quoted is true, its alot of their budget for a player who potentially could be very injury prone etcOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostSeriously? I suppose they'd sooner go back to the days when Leo Fortune-West was leading their line. :whatever:
they'd love him to be a sucess.

I was bored in work on Saturday so I looked at the Cardiff City website to see their response when the news broke that Fowler was joining them.
Most of them on there were ecstatic that God was signing and there was even a mention in today's paper that the Cardiff fans were signing 'God is coming' and other Fowler songs in their friendly on Saturday.
The salary package rumoured all over the place is a worry for them, because of their struggling past naturally, but on the pitch most of them are excited at the thought of Fowler playing for them. Many of them on the website where talking of going down to Ninian Park to 'greet' him when he signed as they wanted to make sure he saw that they were pleased with him joining them!

They needn't worry. Peter Ridsdale is in charge of the finances...Originally posted by Taffy View PostI was bored in work on Saturday so I looked at the Cardiff City website to see their response when the news broke that Fowler was joining them.

There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.
