Like the new guys. Decent performance all round. I was thinking this last year.

Only got to see glimpses of Torres and Babel, but they don't look shy, especially Torres who looks up for the fight. Babel didn't get much of the ball to show too much.
I am delighted with Voronin, something tells me that he will be displacing Kuyt if he keeps this up.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

If that had been a competetive game I think Torres would have score than one. Coming back from an ankle injury I don't think he really committed himself to going in with the keeper and defender. Don't blame him either. He looked lively, but Voronin looked like the big money player tonight imo.

good work out. the crow MoM. seems to be able to play the different roles that rafa would like. i.e hold it up , link the play etc.

torres was quick and should have scored.

didnt see a lot of babel.

overall rafa will be happy enough with the new lads.
