I found this thread on another site, the reserves are playing this weekend end. Daniel Ayala is in the squad but I never heard of him and he is not one of the young recuits that have been mentioned over the last month or so, has anyone got any details on him

Don't just think its a youth camp. I think those players are our reserve team.

The training camp is in Halden between 21/8 and 23/8.
So the season has started, and he has to travel with the kids.
They probably won`t brink all these players with them, but my guess is that at least El Zhar and Insua are above him in the pecking order for a first team call up.

You`re probably right that it`s for the reserves. But that ALT is in there says it all about his status at the club.

like i said in another thread, Rafa might be testing him, after he started flapping his gums about not playing first team footy, Rafa might be starting him at the bottom to see if he's got what it takes to make it with us

Could be. It`s not like we have anything to lose. He`s no use for us now, and we won`t get much cash for him.
The talent is there, so if he can get his act together there is hope.

Hope so.
No matter what the choir of anti-french locals will scream out on most LFC sites, the kid was a very talented footballer, and it might still be possible to get that right.
Depends on him though. Let's hope he has matured and improved his attitude 1000%.
