Sky News & Sky Sports News are freeview channels though, so you can at least get them.

Now the lack of access to Sky One REALLY gets my blood boiling

Virgin Media are joining forces with Setanta Sports and working with them to launch a brand new TV channel, 'Setanta Sports News'. Expected to launch soon.
"Great job, team. Head back to base for debriefing and cocktails"

I was paying 62 quid for Virgin TV (normal version), Sky Sports, broadband and phone.

Now I am paying 42 quid for Virgin TV (XL version - free setanta), Sky Sports, Sky movies, broadband, phone, and free TV on Demand.

I know what I would rather have too.
              Oh I don't know.

Virgin XL package, phone, 20mb broadband, sky sports, sky movies, sentanta all for £60. Wouldn't change that.

No free Sentanta is not for a packagethat costs £60 - that is what I pay for all that I get, free sentanta cmes with a pack that costs £20.50 a month.
I am not a virign media fan boy and recognise their short comings. I do get suprised when this thread is talking about free sentanta you get people going on about how virgin is a poor mans sky etc.

O'Rourke added that Setanta Sports News would have an independent editorial approach and would "not be a barker channel" for the broadcaster's portfolio of other stations. Presenters include former Sky Sports News anchor Kelly Dalglish and comedian Terry Alderton.

I get broadband, sky moveis, the XL thing, and now Setanta for £42 a month. Can't really beat that to be fair to them.

No mention of the LFC channel there though.
