    A Gentleman's agreement between Liverpool & United

Is there such one between the two clubs regarding the transfer policy? I can't recall United ever expressing a desire to sign a Liverpool player and vice versa.

If we where to buy Heinze exploiting some legal loophole - I personally think this will cause us some major ball ache in years to come between agents and players.

United will express an interest in a player coming to the contract negotation phase, either to cost Liverpool more money in renewing a contract or genuinely trying hi-jack negotation plans.

Don't get me wrong - I like Hienze, think is a good player, albeit he was a little lack lustre last season.

I think the repercussions will far out way the 6m investment

Fergie got one of his lads to ask Stevie G to come to Utd, Fergie would hate to sell a player to us, but he would give his right nut for gerrard, and if he thought he had chance Alonso and Torres

There is no agreement, I think it's more to do with not wanting to make one of your most fierce rivals stronger, Ferguson said in the media the other day that he wouldn't be the first United manager in 43 years to sell a player to Liverpool, i think if Heinze is sold now he will move to Spain or Italy
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Is there no way we can have an illicit "gentleman's agreement" with a foreign club to sign Heinze and then sell him on to us for a small profit perhaps?

**** Fergie, **** utd. Why should we fear any repercussions? We are bigger than them and always will be. Infact we need to start being more aggressive on the transfer front. They should never have been allowed to get Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson without a fight

too right - i'm right behind Rafa on this now - although I don't want Heinze really, I DO want to piss Fergie off

Would I have got married during the football season ?
                Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

Pretty much any team Heinze goes to is bound to be a United rival in the Champions League, which is the trophy that Fergie craves so much. He's just being stubborn. Anyway, I'm sure Heinze just wants to go to a club where he can understand what the **** the manager is saying.

Now this is the attitude of a proper LFC fan! **** united, **** Heinze too for that matter, we don't want or need manure rejects. And if we are to go after one of the filth mongers go after evra who took heinze's place in the first place, we don't need to scavange for scraps from the "top" sides in europe because we are on our way back to the top ourselves.

I actually admire old leather face's reaction to the prospect to loosing a decent player to us; it's the way it should be between lfc and manure. he's come out and said "we'll never sell to them"! i think we as lfc fans should show the same contempt towards the signing one of the enemy imo.
I don't care as long as we finish above the blue ****e

If Heinze goes to court over this i will welcome him with open arms. Simply it has to be said this guy wants to play and win and he has seen it at LFC.

                            Fukin Hate Scum!!

We dont need another Left back. We have JAR who wants to stay till the day he dies and Aurellio, the first Brazilian to play in a Red shirt.

We DO need someone to take over Sami's reign but we dont need no fukin' scum reject no matter how good he's meant to be.

Not good enough for Man Ure, not worthy of Liverpool!!

Asif Gabriel's gonna do what that fat scottish chimp says. If he wants to leave then he knows in this day and age, any ****er can get out of a cone-tract.

Contracts mean next to **** all in todays money, unless the names of "The FA" and "Sven" are involved

Does that mean we buy nobody as they are not good enough for the team they already play for?
