          with respect that's bollox mate.

Jerzy had a decidedly suspect temperament and was far too hesitant coming off his line. His first season for us was his best - by a long long way.

Word of advice for Real; don't play him if you draw the Mancs in the PL.

Thats a tad mean boys, slagging Jerzy off like that. Show the man some ****ing respect please, if it wasnt for the dude we would still be on number 4 and thinking about all the 'ifs and buts' and 'maybe next year.'

Personally, i dont think about the howlers when i think of Dudek, i think of THAT save and the pens. Think people have short term memory loss as i quite recall arl' Brucie making a few **** ups but he still goes down as one of our legends as will Jerzy Dudek in my household.

Good luck Jerzy lad and thanx for one of the most memorable nights of my life (besides the birth of my son)

Real joined the Premier League? Wow, that's quite a switch.

                        Good Luck Jerzy.

But if we are being honest then his first season and THAT final he was great. Inbetween utter ****e to be honest. The 2002 World cup shot his confidence he never recovered really.

If you think HJerzy was world class watch Pepe play and you will see a marked difference between the two keepers.

But all the best and thanks for the memories JD

In his first season, Dudek was immense, produced performances that were world class and IMO was easily one of the top 5 keepers in the World. After that World Cup though he was never the same, and we ended up with a few more years of Jerzy where he was inconsistent, capable of the sublime and the ridiculous in equal measure. If he maintained his first season form he would have been a world beater for us.

After Istanbul he was a legend, but he should have left then on a high, and may be he could have salvaged his career instead of semi-retiring now as a confirmed reserve and Number 2. When he's played for us since Istanbul he's been pretty much atrocious and I'll be honest, right now I wouldn't even want him as a 2nd choice.

All the best to him regardless.
