Looks like we won`t be buying any more players, except maybe one. The norwegian site has put together a small list of transfers taht could according to the media.

    Mellor: Preston (£500 00)
Pongo: Lyon, Getafe, Osasuna are having a look.
    Kromkamp: PSV

The only way I think we`ll buy some is if Kromkamp leaves. they maybe Neill comes in.
There also all the youngsters training with the club, but they are probably not in Rafas plans for this season.

maybe Gravesen to sure up the midfield, as we are missing Didi i think.
Gravesen is not, nor ever has been a holding player. I would like to see a more natural holding midfielder bought into the squad but we don't need Gravesen, even though he is a very good player.

Don't see the benefit of Woodgate on loan either, let another PL team take the risk and try and buy him if he stays fit and we want him still. Otherwise we have Agger and Palletta.

According to icLiverpool our spending is over for the summer unless we get rid of Kromkamp. Its at the bottom of the article, I can't see us needing emergency cover for Mellor or Sinama.

DIRK KUYT has saluted the rapturous reception he received on his Liverpool debut - as team-mate Boudewijn Zenden tipped the striker to take the Premiership by storm.

The £9.5million signing from Feyenoord made an encouraging first appearance at Anfield as a 52nd-minute substitute during the 2-1 win over West Ham United on Saturday.

Kuyt twice came close to scoring and impressed with his all-round play, easing any supporters' fears over his purchase following a below-par World Cup with Holland.

And the 26-year-old said: "It was a fantastic welcome. It was wonderful to play at Anfield, they are a wonderful crowd but the most important thing was that we won. "It was a pity I didn't score, but I'm sure it will come. And I think I can do more than just score and I try and work hard for the team and try some assists.

"I haven't set myself any targets in terms of scoring goals. For me, that's not the most necessary thing, the most important for us is to win trophies."

Team-mate and fellow Dutchman Zenden believes Kuyt's overall attributes can make him an integral part of Liverpool's push for honours under Rafael Benitez this season.

"You've seen already he is a player with a lot of energy and someone who can not only score goals but deliver the passes for others," said Zenden.
"He's much more than just a goalscorer."

Zenden added: "He's shown in one game he's a very good signing for us. I knew as soon as there was interest from England he would be the kind of player who would do well in this country.

Even before the manager made his decision to sign him, I thought Dirk was a striker suited to this style of football.

"The manager has a lot of choice up front now, which has been his intention all along. He knows you need 21 equal players to challenge."
Kuyt has now joined up with the Holland squad for their Euro 2008 qualifiers against Luxembourg on Saturday and Belarus a week on Wednesday.

Benitez is unlikely to further add to his squad before the transfer window closes on Thursday, although that may depend on any outgoings.Coca-Cola Championship side Preston North End remain confident they can seal a £500,000 deal for Neil Mellor, while Spanish side Getafe are thought to have joined Osasuna and Gerard Houllier's Lyon in tracking Florent Sinama-Pongolle.

PSV Eindhoven, meanwhile, maintain an interest in full-back Jan Kromkamp.
