I just dont think Quaresma would have been an answer, from what I have seen and heard about him, he is a talented lad, but is very lazy, wont work back for the team, moan and dives about a lot. I just dont think we would have been right to spunk 16mill on a player who only wants to turn it on now and again.

I think Babel has a lot more potential and hunger than Quresama. As for Yossi, well I dont know why we got him. Am sure that money could have been spent better.

Wasn't people saying the same thing a few years ago about Cristiano Ronaldo?

dunno, but then again he was only 18 or so, not in his mid 20's.
You can change a younger players attitude more easily than an older, more established player.

Maybe no. In most of the preseason games so far Rafa has had the wingers switching sides. I think we maybe much more fluid this year and that LW will just be his nominal starting position.
