I've been over 3 times. Its smaller than you think but its a special feeling walking out from the dressingroom (stadium tour) for the first time. I've taken the stadium tour all 3 times I've been there.

Funnily enough, I know a Manc called Cally. And 77 could refer to the FA Cup Final not our league or first European Cup win...

That scuffy ****ing deflected shot from Lou Macari prevented us from winning the treble although of course we did win other trebles in 1984 and 2001 but the Mancs cling on to the desperate belief that theirs in 1999 is the only 'propoh' one...

                      Amazing!

Especially in the 'big' games and even better on European nights!
                      We come not to play.

Words cannot describe the atmosphere/emotions of watching a big European game at Anfield. Left me speechless first time and totally addicted. A unique sporting experience.

                          What a strange thread!

The thing that strikes me is the difference between a league game and a European game at Anfield. I think this is what sets Anfield apart from other grounds I've been to. There is a whole difference between the two games. Without doing both, I don't think you get the whole Anfield experience.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

I still remember my first game in 89 in the FA cup 1/4 final against Brentford at Anfield I was 8 and sat on my dads shoulders in the Kop as we won 4-0
