If those plans we saw a few weeks ago were genuine, I can imagine the feedback will be very mixed and opinions will be completely polarised. Some will love the unusual, futuristic design and others (the traditionalists) will absolutely hate it.

The HKS design is controversial and the public response definitely won't be ambivalent like it was towards the original plans from AFL or Everton's Tesco Value Stadium...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

If you take a look at the plans for the new Dallas Cowboys stadium they have designed then it is believeable that those "banned" pictures are genuine.

Sorry, been away for a couple of weeks on honeymoon. Is there a link to these pictures?

Remember I was the person who broke the story on here that AFL had been sacked with HKS appointed and the capacity being raised so I know all about the Dallas Cowboys Stadium but that is very, very different from the "banned" designs we saw a few weeks ago.

However, I am sure that HKS is capable of something equally as stunning as The DC Stadium and I really do hope those plans we glimpsed are genuine...

Welcome back, Andy. Hope you're not too "shagged out"...

The "banned" pictures were on Flickr (do a search for New Anfield and look for the pics from 'Katty Ka-Bum'!!) but the real ones will be released tomorrow anyway if you can wait!

                  From the Offal:

Liverpool Football Club will reveal plans for their stunning new stadium at 11am on Wednesday morning and you'll be able to see the images first on liverpoolfc.tv.
American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, in conjunction with architects HKS, have radically redisigned the original plans for the Stanley Park ground and the planning application for a brand new 60,000 seater stadium will be submitted to Liverpool City Council today.

Selected images of the new stadium will be available to view on liverpoolfc.tv from 11am when we'll also be bringing you an exclusive interview with Chief Executive Rick Parry as well as the views of manager Rafael Benitez, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Xabi Alonso.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new designs. I have a feeling that this could drag on for some time though.
