Can't understand why people think this is far fetched. It's already been heavily rumoured that this will happen. In fact I'm sure Parry has in the past mentioned that it was an option the club were looking into. Arsenal have made serious money out of selling the stadium name, and the new stadium isn't Anfield anyway. If it means £100mil or a new name like the Stanley Park Stadium I know where my vote will be.
I'm sure it was Tom who admitted as much in their press conference when they took over, citing the fact that if it generated enough revenue to add another top player each year then they would be crazy not to look at it
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly
The new pic on the post front page is much more revealing! Shows the roof & bits of the opposition end! The more I see this stadium the more I like it!!
What about Coca Cola
I just have a feeling they may be a serious contender, mainly due to their similar style in colouring to ours.
I would prefer Addidas though.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

There were some stories a couple of years back about us dumping carlsberg for Coca Cola as shirt sponsor, partly to go after the US market where they don't like to mix alcohol and promoting sports to kids. So maybe the Coca Cola Anfield Bowl will ve it??
No it's not that elevated just a bit more elevated than the others but looking towards the away end - although you can't see that much of nthe away end

No it's at an angle an 'exclusive' on the post this morning! Much more detailed than the ones shown yesterday!
Any chance of scanning it in mate?

I just checked the Liverpool Councils website, there are no files you can check online there.
He is the description of the application though.
