After reading most of the threads about the coming season I would like to know what is more important, our final position or the points gap?
Obviously this is only if we don't win the league.
For example (and these are kind of exaggerated) we finish 2nd but 20 points behind 1st or we finish 4th and 8 points behind the winners.
I think I would prefer the points gap to be small and not to fussed about position (as long as we are still champions league qualifiers) as that would show progress.
If we don't win I think the gap has to be single digits.
Finishing second would be nice but if it is a big point gap we can't have really challenged for the title so judging progress would be difficult to do (unless some team wins every game and we draw 7 and lose 2).
