The Michael Shields Collection

I know theres a thread already on Michael Shields and it's a sticky, but i didn't think ths fitted in that thread if the mods decide it does then please move it in there mods with my apologies for starting this.

But i was wondering if anyone who went on Saturday can post any light on how the collection was done and if they have aby idea how much was raised initial estimates that sort of thing. also whether the club plan on doing any more collections throughout the season to help the family out a bit?

There was a woman with a collection bucket just inside the turnstiles where I was. Dunno how much they collected but the vast majority were very keen to drop their money in. If they've not raised at least £1 per supporter I'd be really surprised.

they had people with buckets as you went through the turnstiles, and also people with buckets that I saw in the concourse underneath the kop.
havent a clue how much they got, hopefully a lot.
wouldnt fancy counting it though
