They can come up with all sorts of goal celebatrions but noone does it better than Dalglish - that's utter joy...
Arms up and the greatest smile - that man was born to score goals and he simply loved everys single of them..
Another 96.000 reasons to honour Rafa

I just hope someone has a cunning plan

King Kenny and Rushie have both said that players today have to be more the complete athlete than during their club days and the pace of the game was nothing like it is today..So really we cannot compare... But if we can get our front line ticking over like a well tuned engine then we have the making of a title winning team, but this year?...Only time will tell...

I feel we are going to be a lot closer this season and if we are in the mix come December, then we'll have an equal chance to pass the winning post first...Number 19 is certainly on its way, it just a matter of time...
          great post
Kuyt, Torres & Crouch are completly different players and to compare to 2 LFC legends is not fair really.
Kuyt & Crouch only been at the club for 2-3 years and Torres has not played a full 90 minutes game yet.
In time we will find out.

            I'm not so sure.

To many times last season have we had to break down a back 10. It's not as if we allow pressure to be built up on our back four to counter attack. Maybe that's in the Gaffas head.

But until then we need a Crouch and a few striking midfielders.

                  Thank you for posting that!

I didn't realise those two were quite as good as that! I only got into football in 1992 (Sunderland vs Liverpool FA Cup Final) as my friend was a lifelong Liverpool fan.

At least I got to see God come up through the ranks but I've never experienced a League Win

I am now in a position to buy a nice TV and a subscription to Foxtel so lets hope we can do it this season!

The game has moved on .. but ... genius like Kenny doesn't come along very often. I've never seen anyone like him. As for Rushy, his pace, his anticipation, his absolutely clinical finishing, his relentless workrate ... those two would come out on top in any generation of footballers, absolutely no doubt at all.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

imo the greatest strike partnership of all time. i can't say one without thinking about the other. two fantastic individual players who made each other even better.

kenny is my all time footballing hero cause i wanted to play like him more than any other player when i was growing up

Kuyt and Crouch started 1 game in every 4 together last season.
Bellamy and Kuyt something like 1 in 3.
Crouch and Bellamy 1 in 10.

How that is supposed to lead to a Kenny & Rushy type partnership developing I don't know.
