    New youngsters start well

I have a good feeling about Amoo and the spanish one

Liverpool Under-18s were in fine form as they produced an impressive performance in their first outing of pre-season as they beat Plymouth Argyle 4-1 at the Academy on Saturday.
Marvin Pouri, Daniel Pachecho, David Amoo and Nathan Ecclestone were all on target for the Reds.

Coach Hughie McAuley told Liverpoolfc.tv: "We fielded two teams and the players had 45 minutes each. It was a mixture of the Academy and the young Melwood based players.

"We played some decent football and the lads worked very hard. At this stage it's all about getting the players ready and fit for the new season.

"We now entertain Carlisle United on Wednesday and then play Birmingham City next Saturday."
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Was this against Plymouth's youth/reserve side or the first string?

I watched our other youngsters against Colchester yesterday and some of them look promising. El Zhar, Rouqe and Idrazj all looked very good. Also Prutteral is a terrier in midfeild.
        *Except Michael, who died.

We've bought so many youngsters it's hard to see how any of them are going to get a chance to get anywhere near the first team really.

I think that Rafa will ease them into the first team gradually mate(over a couple of years) i'd say, if their good enough!, i can see a few of them playing Cup games too.
