Just read that Kewell should have been down at Spurs having a medical before the window closes, but obviously due to ongoing injury it never happened, so instead they took Zenden and he's down there right now. I don't know if it's loan or permanent, but take with a pinch of salt, rumour is just that - rumour, not fact till told otherwise, but if it happens, you read it here first

I don't think we'd really need Zenden if we got a new young CM player in so I wouldn't be surprised to see him go.

Depends what position you want him for. Personaly I think he's a decent left mid, and showed some glimpses of that last season for us. In the center tho he doesn' really cut it, not sure if it's due to the long lay off, or just trying to settle into the position, but i'd like to see him stay for utility purposes. Don't want to start thinning out the squad too much, unless a suitable replacement is already tied up, then he can be on his way.

i disagree mate, think he is useless on the left, his crossing is only slightly better than horrific, has zero pace.....He had a great season at boro as an attacking mid.

Personally i would let him go as i dont rate him at all......but having said that you cant have a squad full of talent, we need at least a couple of scapegoats

Seems very odd. They come looking for Kewell. He's crocked so they look at Zenden. If true, it seems like they are desperate to get someone. Does it mean some sort of swap deal?

Zenden would seem strange given that he's been on the offal today bigging up Kuyt saying that he'd be great for "us". But I guess if we've signed that El Zhar, perhaps he can be the back up creative midfielder.
