    Is Istanbul safe

    http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/...539911,00.html

After the sad events in Turkey over the weekend, and the latest comments from the group claiming responsibility, do you think there is a chance that the Galatasaray fixture will now be moved?

Fixture wont be moved. Kurdish sepratists have been doing this for years and years and is only really highlighted particularly now as they targetted holiday makers to damage the turkish economy.

I wouldn't have any concerns going over as I was there last month and will hopefully be back there for our away leg.

Istanbul is as likely a terrorist hot spot as any other major city but I wouldn't be worried about going there especially out of summertime. It's as dangerous there as it is here in the UK, infact probably less so.

How long did you spend there?

Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and an amazing place to visit.

Ah, ok. Haven't been myself (heartbreaking) but it did look like a football pitch built on a muddy section of the moon.
